My Story
Landscape, Creative & Travel Photographer
Photography is an art, it's about finding the extra-ordinary in an ordinary place
My Story
I am a photographer originally from Melbourne, Australia. However, in 2021, Hubby and I made a tree change and moved to the gorgeous lakeside town of Nagambie in North East Victoria.
In 2016, I started the Victorian Photographers Collective, a Facebook group of other like-minded photographers, and in 2019, we held a successful three-week exhibition at Magnet Galleries, Docklands.
My passion for photography began at the young age of 13 when I was given a box brownie by my father, who was also a photography enthusiast. Over the following years, I progressed to 35mm film. Then I went to Nikon point-and-shoot before buying a Canon DSLR. At one point having a darkroom in the bathroom to process the film. My weapon of choice now is an Olympus OM-D EM1 Mk II, and my old box brownie takes pride of place on a shelf among my collection
Life is a journey
The journey has taken me searching for new experiences and locations through New Zealand, Germany, France, the U.K., Australia, and Norway, hunting for Northern Lights. My favourite subjects are landscape, wildlife and macro. I also enjoy architecture and love old abandoned buildings.
In the ongoing pursuit of knowledge, In the early days, I taught myself HTML to create websites before moving to WordPress, where I now concentrate those skills on building photography-centric websites for other photographers and teaching Photoshop.
When I am not behind my camera, computer monitor or researching new photography projects, I enjoy writing, collecting vintage cameras, travelling, and reading.

Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
